Hi! We’re Scott and Kelsey, and we’d like to welcome you to our journey as prospective parents. Thank you for taking the time to learn about our story as we build our family together.

The phrase “love at first sight” doesn’t quite fit our initial reactions to each other. We attended college together and although we took many of the same classes and were both on the swim team, we did not have much of a fondness for one another. Over the course of a few years, we realized how much we had in common, such as a sarcastic sense of humor, enjoyment of superhero movies, and love of baking cookies. By the time graduation came along, we were the best of friends and have been inseparable ever since! We started dating shortly after college and got married in 2018. Along the way, we welcomed our two dogs, Laika and Sadie, to our home.

Even before getting married, we had discussed the idea of building our family together. When things had settled down after marrying and moving into a new house, we started to talk about having children in a more serious manner. Adoption had always been on our minds, and we have decided it is the best way to fulfill our dream of being parents. We cannot wait to welcome a new little one into our home to make our family complete!
